Emerald Surf Sciences has occasional openings in the Field Engineer Program. The program offers extensive exposure to well intervention and completions. A Bachelor of Sciences degree in a STEM discipline is required to be considered, and successful applicants must complete all of the program’s proficiency exams to attain a permanent position. Applicants who complete the program will serve as a field service engineer responsible for supervising jobs and performing technical tasks and customer technical support.
Job Description:
- The employee will spend the majority of their time on location overseeing jobs and acting as the operational and technical point of contact for customers. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Providing technical support to their designated District by
- Tracking and maintaining technical tools/equipment
- QA & QC of operational data in OpsViewer
- Performing and/or presenting Post Job analyses for in-basin customers
- Performing technical training and development for other employees
- In addition to the responsibilities above, candidates will receive, and are required to successfully complete, training in the following:
- Field operations training through competencies in the theory, mechanical and practical applications of Emerald Surf Sciences’ technologies
- Fluid rheology, chemical pumping systems, and fluid system design training
- Data management training on the OpsViewer platform
- KPI and post job report design and analysis
- PJA presentations and Well-bore Simulator demonstrations
- Sales, account management and business development
- Data acquisition systems and instrumentation training
